PSOE: The ciezanas will be able to recover the Social Security contribution they paid while they were pregnant (23/10/2018)

After a report from the Tax Agency declares that, after judgment 1462/2018, public benefits for maternity received from Social Security are exempt from Personal Income Tax (IRPF).

The taxpayers who received these benefits in the years 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 may request the rectification of the IRPF statement in which they had included such income, through a form of the Tax Agency.

The Socialists say that, after this declaration by the Tax Agency, a fairer period is opened for those people who paid for a quotation that did not correspond to fair treatment.

"There are too many impediments that deepen the professional inequalities that are created, when a woman becomes pregnant and this sentence alleviates part of the tax burden," they say.

In addition, for those requests for rectification of declarations that have been rejected prior to the date of the judgment, it has the possibility of appeal provided that the declaration has not become final and that the recourse is in the way of resolution will be the competent body in charge to solve according to this decision.

The grouping of Cieza affirms that the national government is promoting measures that deepen in the eradication of inequalities.

Maternity and paternity can lead to processes of labor and family inequality, so we celebrate the sentence that will have to be accompanied by measures such as free education from 0 to 3 years.
