The jury composed by the writer Rosa Campos Rosa, the teacher activist for equality Aurora Montoya, the councilor of Youth Maria Ramos and the Secretary General of the Youth of the Region of Murcia José Antonio Campos, directed an emotional act that staged the importance of education and social awareness as weapons to combat gender violence.

The act was attended by the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, who presented the first prize valued at 200 euros to Carolina Illán Conesa.

In addition, the mayor accompanied the delivery with the demand that, from the institutions, contribute to women can be free and courageous to decide the best without the influence of anyone.

"The main objective to follow is the cooperation between the institutions to give exit to the women victims, but also to give the sufficient mechanisms so that the less light aggressions that can end in tragedy are identified" it finished.

In addition, the act was enlivened with the performances of "The Creadero" with a fragment of the work "My life revolves around 500 meters" where the protagonists, surrounded by a hundred people showed the way of escape of a girl who hid the Mother blows.

From Juventudes Socialistas de Cieza we thank all the participants for the creativity and the enhancement of a "positive" message, alluding to the emergence of male chauvinist violence.

The youth organization believes that social activism incurs in a special way when accompanied by different artistic disciplines.
