Cieza IU-Greens presented at a press conference to all candidates contesting the Elementary Open this organization has called for the purpose of involving citizens in the making of his candidacy for the upcoming municipal elections in May 2015.

Public participation shall be established in two different ways throughout the process: first, with the possibility to join the list and stand for election, provided that the requirements regarding guarantees fixed regulations are met these primary ;

and secondly, after participating voter registration in the electoral roll for the purpose.

Antonio Penalva, outgoing councilor, and Francisco Saorín, coordinator of IU-Greens Cieza, have participated as members of the Electoral Commission to oversee the process and explain its characteristics and to officially present applicants.

In their interventions have highlighted that "until the 15th of January will be open to the census of supporters and, therefore, the possibility to register in the same order to vote", and have encouraged all ciezana citizenship "to take part in this totally new process by registering before 15 in the census, either through the website of Cieza IU-Green, which is very simple, or by calling 1033 968 760 800-extension ".

The primary process started last November 14, when the Assembly Local Cieza IU-Greens approved the holding of these primaries, and will culminate on January 17 with the vote and the proclamation of Candidate for Mayor of Cieza and the team that will accompany integrating the list.

The ten people who have taken the step to qualify for the main posts of this electoral list, including the candidate for mayor, six men and four women: Mary Belló Ruiz Camacho Mariano Santos, Alfredo Cañadillas Cañizares, Pablo García López, Cristina García-Glass, José Eduardo Illueca Ballester, Nerea Martínez Aroca, Ignacio Núñez Martinez, Alicia Salmeron Saorín Guardiola and Francisco Rodriguez.

According to the Electoral Commission, "it is a team of honest, hardworking people, whose main objective is to work for citizenship and serve the general interest; it is people who have all of them with a job and a profession, so neither seeks his personal interest but quite the opposite: to work and to Cieza Cieza ".
