The candidate for President of the Community calls for building a new economy "that creates wealth and redistribute to stop this escalation of social inequality"

The candidate for President of the Community, Rafael González Tovar, said that the Socialist Party is the only political party that guarantees "the sane and solvent change that needs this region."

In an Open Assembly which also participated Secretary of PSOE Social Policy, Trinidad Jiménez, and which was officially presented to the candidate for mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, Tovar explained that the PSRM is developing a project Toggle to govern our Community following the upcoming regional and municipal elections.

"We have to build a new economy that creates wealth and that redistributes to stop this escalation of inequality and to close the huge gap between the richest of those who have nothing, which, unfortunately, more and more," he stressed the socialist leader, who recalled that 83,000 people in the region have spent more than two years unemployed, "half of them without receiving any benefits already."

"We want to change this situation, we have a thorough knowledge of the Region of Murcia and its problems and have personal and political will to do," he insisted.

González Tovar noted that the socialist project will include a special Employment Plan focused on providing job opportunities for men and women long-term unemployed, especially those who no longer receive benefits and fight hard against social exclusion.

"But do not forget either of the nearly 32,000 unemployed over 45 years, or 20,000 households that do not enter any income," he added.

"We have to change the economic and regional production model to encourage the growth of key sectors in the local and regional economy, taking advantage of the characteristics of each municipality, to get out of the crisis as soon as possible and in the best conditions" has ended .

For its part, the Socialist candidate for mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas has promised to govern the city effectively, "and above all, honestly, because Cieza an honest municipal government it deserves."
