A course at the University of Mar discuss government measures to combat the crisis (14/09/2009)

The professor emeritus at the University Complutense of Madrid and one of the last doctors Honoris Causa by the University of Murcia, Alfredo Montoya Melgar, will be asked to deliver the inaugural lecture of the course of the International University of the Sea "Social law before the crisis economy, "equal to a conference title that will address the issue from a historical perspective.

According to the Leader, "the economic crisis triggered worldwide has affected the corporate structure and the Spanish labor market."

In this context, the course seeks to highlight the challenges faced by the Labour and Social Security in its various forms-from maintaining employment, immigration policy or you are, and to propose possible solutions.

Presenters will discuss during the steps in the matter that the Government has been proposing along in 2009, along with the impact of the crisis in judgments.

The course is run by Maria Francisca García Ferrando, María Belén García Romero and María del Carmen López Aniorte, teachers of Labour and Social Security at the University of Murcia, and will be taught by teachers of this specialty of the Complutense University, Granada and Murcia.

The course will be held in the town of Cieza between days 21 to 23 September and who is enrolled in 1.5 shall be entitled to free credits.

Registration is open until next September 14.
