Sharing experiences and strengthening the culture of patient safety in the health area of ​​Vega Alta del Segura is the purpose of the day 'Experiences in the process of risk management in patient safety: from the challenges to implementation ', which opened today in the hospital of the Vega' Lorenzo Guirao 'of Cieza the general director of Healthcare of the Murcian Health Service, Roque Martinez.

This initiative, in collaboration with the Murcian Union of Hospitals and Clinics and with the coordination of the 'Project Impulse for improving patient safety', is part of the actions taken to position the hospital and the health area as a more secure organization.

Through it, the aim is to set safety objectives in all health areas and to analyze action plans for patient safety in the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the management agreements of the centers with the SMS, as well as the 17 experiences of several autonomous communities.
