In one of the houses they have seized nearly 150 plants of cannabis sativa plants and the necessary tools for their indoor cultivation, while in the second they have obtained evidence of having housed marijuana plants
One of the buildings, which was illegally occupied, has been returned to its legitimate owner
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking, has developed the operation 'LUCKY BROS', which has resulted in the arrest of two people and the dismantling of a greenhouse clandestine installed in a house in Cieza, where 132 plants of cannabis sativa have been seized.
The registry, also practiced in a second dwelling related to the investigation, has allowed obtaining evidence of the recent existence of a hidden marijuana plantation.
Agents specializing in prevention of citizen safety of the Benemérita began the operation within the framework of the police devices aimed at locating illegal marijuana plantations in the municipality of Cieza, which gave its fruit shortly after, when the agents obtained indications that in a house, located in the old part of the town, there could be an indoor type plantation of cannabis sativa.
The civil guards continued with the investigation on this property, which allowed to verify that in the dwelling there were two brothers on whom there were well-founded suspicions of their relationship with the traffic of narcotic substances, all of which was brought to the attention of the judicial authority.
La Benemérita located a second property related to these individuals that, apparently, was being illegally occupied by other people and where, supposedly, there was also a hidden plantation of marijuana.
Once the necessary indications have been obtained and the corresponding entry and registration orders have been granted in the houses under investigation, the Civil Guard has inspected the buildings, in one of which 132 cannabis sativa plants have been found and apprehended, as well as the necessary tools for indoor cultivation.
This record has resulted in the arrest of two people as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of cultivation and manufacture of drugs, and of fraud of electric power.
In the second property, property of a neighbor of the municipality that had denounced its illegal occupation, the agents have found sufficient indications that relate to its inhabitants with the cultivation and elaboration of marijuana plants.
After carrying out the registration, the house has been restored to its legitimate owner.
In both cases there were fraudulent connections to the electricity supply.
The operation 'LUCKY BROS' has culminated with the arrest of two men, 37 and 41 years old, brothers and neighbors of Cieza as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of cultivation and manufacture of drugs, and defraudation of electricity.
Inside one of the houses, a greenhouse has been dismantled with 132 plants of cannabis sativa in an advanced state of growth, equipped with numbers of air conditioning units, filters and extractors of air and halogen lamps, among others, all of which has seized result.
The detainees, the drug seized, the effects seized and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Cieza (Murcia).
The investigation continues open so that future arrests are not ruled out.
