Partido Popular and Ciudadanos continue with the path of the cuts that they implanted in the government.
From the table of the Congress they have paralyzed the urgent processing of the state transfers to the autonomous communities.
This has caused the paralysis of 60 million euros to the Region of Murcia and 1.5 million, proportionally to the inhabitants, corresponding to Cieza.
The negotiations of the Economy Minister, Nadia Calviño, with Brussels granted to Spain the reduction of the deficit target by 5,000 million euros.
This would cause the distribution of these 5 million between the communities and the municipalities to invest more in social policies.
Last Tuesday, the Popular Party and its partner, formerly in the Government and now in the opposition, Citizens vetoed at the table of Congress the reduction of the deficit and the consequent budgetary increase of the autonomous communities.
This implies that the cuts that "were imposed by Brussels", in the words of popular representatives, have been made as an ideological measure of PP and C's.
Consequently, the Socialist Party will continue to fight to reverse the path of the cuts of the Spanish right.
The economic recovery must guarantee the exit of the crisis of all Spanish citizenship and this has to be reflected in the policies that affect the citizenship.
In addition, "it is not very democratic that what is raised as an emergency by the Board of Spokesmen in the lower house, changes its criteria due to partisan decisions".
From the Socialist Party of Cieza we regret that Popular Party and Citizens harm the interests of this municipality.
A million and a half euros could be translated into the increase of employment plans, an improvement in cleaning services or aid to eradicate sexist violence, among other possibilities.
"Wanting to make partisan politics using the institutions harms, not only the citizens, but it causes the slowdown in the progress of our city, our region and our country," say socialist sources.
