"It shows, once again that gender violence is not fought only with campaigns, but that resources are essential to end this scourge," say the Socialists.
In July 2018, days after entering the Government, the Vice President of the Government backed by the President of the Government doubled the amount allocated to the State Pact against Gender Violence committed by the Popular Party, a matter of principle.
Allocate 200 million euros to one of the biggest blights suffered by today's society marks the beginning of the commitment to fight for its eradication, that of gender violence.
The distribution of the credit approved in the Sectorial Conference responds to territorial and population criteria, with special attention to women over 65 and women with disabilities, temporary work or unemployment.
For all this, to the Region of Murcia 6,300,000 euros, of which Cieza corresponds to 150,000 euros.
Money that has to be destined to the maintenance and improvement of the networks of resources and social services of attention to the victims;
