Alfonso de la Cruz López Sánchez is a caravaqueño of pro so well-known and loved throughout the Region of Murcia for his long and successful career, which now exceeds three decades.
So much so that it is not easy to summarize his resume, full of awards and recognitions for his work in print, radio and television.
He started in Telecaravaca and later he was Head of Sports of Antena 3 Radio in the Region of Murcia and in Seville, Head of Sports of Diario 16 Murcia, Editor-Broadcaster in Regional Wave, Head of Press and External Relations of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia and Communication Advisor in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Regional Government.
In 2006, he joined the Regional Television of the Region of Murcia, where he was Delegate for Programs, Responsible for Retransmissions, Presenter of the programs "With the day ahead", "The summer terrace", "From the land to the sea" and "Pilgrims" and Director of Special Events.
His is that unmistakable voice that tells us the great events that take place throughout the year in our regional geography, which are multiple and varied.
Alfonso de la Cruz already exceeds three hundred broadcasts on our regional television, of which more than a hundred are Holy Week processions.
But it is that, in addition, we are facing a great festive, because in his native Caravaca Alfonso de la Cruz has been a Kabileño of Abul Khatar and Ceyt Abuceyt, King Moro, horseman of the Peña Mayrena, Vocal of Press and External Relations of the Bando de los Caballos del Vino, founding member of the Company of Armaos, First Lieutenant of Mayor of Celebrations and Tourism, Vocal of Communication of the Real and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Santísima and Vera Cruz and for more than three decades belongs to the Brotherhood of the Santísimo Christ of the Volunteers, holder of the Procesión del Silencio del Jueves Santo caravaqueño.
He has proclaimed the Festivities and the Holy Week of Caravaca;
the Pilgrimage of the Virgen de la Esperanza, in Calasparra;
the Cultural Week of La Arboleja, the Spring Festival of Murcia in 2015 and the Festival of Moors and Christians of Murcia in 2017.
And in the chapter of distinctions, to mention just a few, we can highlight the Prize to the Journalistic Work of Murciano Sport;
the Award of the International Week of the Garden and the Sea, in Los Alcázares;
the Parra de Oro, in San Pedro del Pinatar;
the Golden Faba of Casa Menéndez, in Águilas;
the Golden Mask of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval, also in Águilas;
the Diploma of Honor of the Federation of Centers for the Elderly of Murcia;
Las Ramaleras de Oro and the title of "Moro del Año", in Caravaca;
and his appointment as Honorary Member of the National Union of Moors and Christians Festeras Entities.
