The young people of Citizens have organized once again a solidary collection of food and toys for the most favored, coinciding with the Christmas season.
This year, Young Cs Region of Murcia moved to Cieza this activity, which will take place on Saturday 22 at the Corner of the Convent of the town, between 11.30 and 13.30, with the support and collaboration of the orange local group.
Jóvenes Ciudadanos (Jcs) organizes this collection of toys and food this month in all the autonomous communities of Spain.
The Secretary of Youth for Citizens, Melisa Rodríguez, explained that "an agreement has been reached with the Youth Red Cross and the Food Bank to deliver this collection".
"Social activities are an essential part of our project," said Rodríguez, who explained that "these are actions that are aimed at fostering solidarity."
More than 6,000 young people will participate in this Jcs project.
An initiative that adds to the social activities that take place during the year such as the cleaning of forests and beaches this summer or the collection of school materials last September.
The young affiliation of Citizens has grown 72% this year in 2018, with more than 20,700 registered.
"The Secretariat of Youth of Citizens (Jcs) aims to enhance the talent of the youth of the party," said the secretary of Youth, Melisa Rodriguez, who stressed that "the objective is for young people to know that they are a useful part of participating in an active way, beyond the mere ideological charge as it happens in other parties "
