A total of 20,880 visitors enjoyed the different exhibitions, talks and actions promoted from the Department headed by the mayor of Podemos Cieza, Pilar Martínez Ros.
Since 2012 there were accumulated more than 20,000 visits to the Siyâsa Museum, a figure exceeded in 2018 thanks to the commitment to turn the museum into the nerve center of culture in Cieza.
The total number of visitors counted from May 12, 1999 to December 30, 2018 amounts to 361,701 people.
In addition to the rich permanent exhibition, which shows the history of Cieza from the Paleolithic period to the present, 29 temporary exhibitions have been exhibited this year.
Photography, painting, collage, school and association work, nativity scenes, sacred art, etc ... have shaped the wide range that has led the Siyâsa Museum to beat its record of annual visits.
The months that more visitors have enjoyed the offer of the museum have been March, with 3,247, and December with 4,517.
This comes to consolidate the incorporation to the tourist offer ciezana within the program of Flowering and turns it into a reference in the Christmas season thanks to the complete program "December in the Museum of Siyasa", which includes exhibitions, workshops, concerts, cribs ... etc.
In addition to the visits recorded to the museum, the celebration of Museum Day has also enjoyed great popularity and acceptance on May 19, leading to all the corners of the city, taking to the streets and bringing art to the public and visitors.
From the Department of Museums led by the mayor of Podemos, Pilar Martinez, and from the municipal staff responsible for the proper functioning of the museum, "we appreciate the good reception of all initiatives carried out and encourage citizens and visitors to continue enjoying this Ciezano enclave and all its activities. "
"We continue working with more enthusiasm and commitment, if possible, to put the heritage, history, culture and legacy of Cieza to the height it deserves"
