Feminist movements call on women to stop doing all the tasks and take to the streets next March 8 to demand the permanence of their struggle and continue to denounce the situation of women and the prevailing patriarchal system.
The feminist strike is situated for all areas of life, both in paid and unpaid work, therefore, the strike will take place in: employment, pensioners, students, care and consumption.
From Podemos Cieza we join this strike call, and we will be with them and them in the streets to make visible our commitment to their just demands because for us only a feminist society is equal.
After the success of last year's strike despite the fact that the PP and Cs parties wanted to dynamite her, calling her "communist", "extremist", etc., although the following day both Casado and Rivera left are ties purple in their lapels, this year we continue with very little progress in the issues that women claim.
To give an example, in the Region of Murcia, the unemployment rate of women is 20.5%, more than 8 points above that of men, and the salary gap is € 5,914 a year, by charging a 24 , 7% less women than men.
Those parties in the picture of Colón (PP-Cs-Vox), who call themselves "constitutionalists" even though they have done more damage to the Constitution than anyone with their cuts policies, with their corruption and blockages to laws and social measures, DO NOT BELIEVE in Feminism, and some (like Vox), even fight it.
They do not understand that the future is feminist or it is not.
They do not understand that the feminist struggle is not about men learning to change diapers, wash clothes or take care of their children at 50%.
They do not understand that abortion is a Right, and that we will not take a step back.
That feminism goes much further, that the feminist struggle tries to make us understand that we have to change a brutal reality in which the economic and social system continues to maintain the exploitation of women and its glass ceiling.
That the patriarchal system must change, that Spain does not have to return to the past as requested by the extreme right, nor stay as it is as the right asks.
That Spain can be a democratic and feminist example.
Women all over the world suffer daily the Machismo that exploits them and assassinate them.
In Spain, the levels of sexist violence already exceed, in data recorded in recent years, more dead than those that were with ETA throughout his criminal career.
In addition, for feminism there is no substitute gestation, because it will NEVER be altruistic, and if it is supported that the body of women can be rented to gestate, we will be opening the door to consider the body of women as merchandise.
Podemos was one of the few parties that last year we were from the minute 0 with women and the feminist movements of the 8M day and, although we rained sticks from all positions and related media to the right and the PSOE, with the success of the 8M day of 2018 we demonstrate once again that yes you can.
