On March 11, 2019, Carlos Gavilán, Manager of the company Biometric Vox, made a courtesy visit to the City of Cieza to inform him of the continuous improvements that are being made in the TranscribeVox software, which enables the transcription of plenary sessions.
The City Council of Cieza is collaborating in its implementation, contributing its experience in electronic administration and, above all, its long history in the computerization of municipal processes.
Said software will serve to solve the enormous logistical problems that the hearing of plenums and its subsequent writing on paper suppose.
The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas and the councilor of Transparency, Miguel Gual, received the Manager to convey the progress made and especially thank the staff savings that is assuming the use of this IT tool that does not cost the City Council Cieza
In words of Lucas, "it is a pride to be pioneers in the use of these tools that make this municipality more human and that takes a step towards transparency and allows to bring the daily work of this City Council closer to the citizens".
For his part, Miguel Gual, informed Biometric Vox of the work data, the progress achieved and the possibilities of automated implementation that will undoubtedly serve other municipalities in this task that right now the municipalities of Spain devote thousands of hours of work .
For his part, Carlos Gavilán, Manager of Biometric Vox reported the latest work done in the improvement of the tool that has managed to double its transcription speed and increase accuracy to almost 95% fidelity, to which contributions have contributed of improvement that has made the City of Cieza.
