Recently, it has been confirmed from RENFE, that a second Alvia hybrid train will stop at Cieza, both towards Madrid and towards Cartagena.

With this new train, there are already two hybrid trains that are assigned to stop in Cieza and that will allow us to reach Madrid in less than 3 hours, given that they reach a speed of up to 250 km / h.

For this reason, the PSOE de Cieza, has sent a press release in which assesses very positively the progress that has given Cieza in communication and infrastructure, no doubt represents an important step forward that will have positive consequences for tourism, Having a new way of arrival more comfortable and faster, and also have positive consequences for the development of our city, to be able to get to Madrid and return in a single day to do any kind of management, with consequent cost savings in the trip.

Socialists have always opted for the opening of the "variant of cliques" understanding that above all for Cieza was something main and necessary, likewise we have always been working for the achievement of high-speed trains.

There is no doubt that our Mayor, Pascual Lucas, has done a great job, claiming these infrastructures and these trains for the City, something that has been achieved thanks to the efforts of all, with the Mayor at the head, and thanks to the Government's criteria Socialist of the country that understands that communication by train is something that is essential and that should serve to structure the territories.

In this way, the commitments acquired with Cieza by the former Delegate of the Government, Diego Conesa, and current candidate for the Presidency of the Region of Murcia, are also fulfilled. In compliance with his word, the "variant of cliques" has been prepared and also makes available to our City two hybrid Alvia trains.
