The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify a robbery with violence and intimidation committed against a neighbor of Cieza, who has been settled, a few hours later, with the identification, location, detention and subsequent judicial disposal of the two presumed authors of the facts.
The events took place at dawn, when a citizen was in the vicinity of a public establishment in Cieza.
Apparently, two young people began to rebuke him, first with insults and later with threats, until an argument was generated.
It was then when one of the authors hit him hard in the face while the other intimidated him with a glass bottle, until finally and violently they stole the cash that the victim had charged the previous day for his work in the field, as well as various personal effects.
When the victim was able to recover from the blows received during the robbery, the alleged perpetrators had already fled the scene, with the victim needing medical assistance for the injuries suffered.
After filing a complaint about the theft, Citizen Security Prevention of the Benemérita staff began the corresponding investigation to verify the facts and, if necessary, clarify them.
The first inquiries were aimed at gathering all possible indications about the commission of the criminal act and the identity of the perpetrators.
As a result of the investigation, the Civil Guard found that after the authorship of the robbery with violence and intimidation were two young people who did not reside in the town, but were temporary workers who move from other municipalities and provinces due to the start of the fruit collection campaign.
The investigators then carried out a search device on the suspects in places frequented by temporary workers, which culminated in their location in a warehouse on the outskirts of ciezano municipality, where they were arrested as alleged perpetrators of robbery with violence. and intimidation.
The rapid action of the civil guards has made it possible to clarify the fact, as well as locate and arrest their alleged perpetrators, about eight hours after committing the crime, and the investigation has been terminated.
The Moroccan detainees, aged 23 and 27, living in Alicante and with a history of similar crimes, along with the proceedings ordered, have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Cieza (Murcia).
