The members of the municipal socialist candidacy, Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real and Conchi Villa, appeared at a press conference to report on general and priority aspects of the electoral program regarding urban planning and infrastructures, in view of the upcoming elections.
Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real, exposed the priority of the socialists to promote urbanism through a new PGMO.
Likewise, he recalled, that the previous urban model of the PP based on the agreements had failed.
Faced with speculation, socialists are committed to a model focused on the productive economy.
For this reason, the new PGMO will have to connect the industrial polygons, increasing the ground to facilitate the installation of companies or expansion of existing ones.
In the urban area it is necessary to boost the old town, and improve services and transportation in Ascoy, and as an expansion area we want the Riparian Walk to reach the Menjú.
The Socialists say that to facilitate access to housing will implement a municipal plan for rental housing.
On the other hand, Conchi Villa enumerated some of the infrastructures contemplated in the electoral program of the Socialists, some of them with the procedure already started as the third bridge at the height of the Rider for which the land is available, the fourth section of the Rambla del Realejo, whose work is already contracted or the rehabilitation of the house of the encomienda, already budgeted and for which there are funds from Europe.
Regarding the sports facilities, the remodeling of the Alex Yepes pavilion will be completed and once the work on the runway springs has been completed, the interior of the track will be refurbished.
Continued Conchi Villa expressing the PSOE's commitment to young people and employment, for which the transformation of the La Lonja building as a center for initiatives for young entrepreneurs (CIJOE) will be addressed.
During this next mandate, the fairgrounds will be a reality, once the urban planning procedures have been unblocked, and the performance at Casa de las Delicias will also be addressed.
The black point of the Asensao bridge will be eliminated, for which an agreement has already been signed between Pascual Lucas, as Mayor of Cieza and Adif
Finally, reference was also made to the problem of bad odors that thousands of neighbors endure, caused by previous governments of the PP to put wastewater from Ascoy in the urban area.
From the first moment, solving this problem has been a priority, steps have been taken and there is already a project and financing for a new collector to eliminate the problem.
