Jaime Balmes de Cieza College joined the initiative “One among One Hundred Thousand” on Friday, with a cooperative and solidarity career that had the collaboration of the FAMU, in which funds have been raised to fight against childhood leukemia
Thousands of children across Spain ran this Friday for a fantastic cause, adding to the “One Among One Hundred Thousand” initiative, which works to raise funds for research to fight against childhood leukemia.
It was also the case of a good number of educational centers in the Region of Murcia, including Jaime Balmes de Cieza School, whose students of Infant, Primary and Secondary contributed their grain of sand in a cooperative and solidarity career.
The teachers of the center, both sports and economically, were also involved in a test that had the organizational collaboration of the FAMU and which was also attended by the Councilor for Sports of the City of Cieza, Carlos Semitiel, accompanied by his students from the disabled center where is a sports monitor, who also participated in the appointment.
The benefits obtained will go to the research project that the One Between One Hundred Thousand Foundation has funded since 2014. Approximately 350,000 people have taken part in this 2019 edition, under the motto 'La Vuelta al Cole', with a total of 849 schools in The whole national territory.
