The Municipal School of Music celebrates from November 18 to 24 the Second Week of music on the occasion of the commemoration of the day of the patron saint of musicians, Santa Cecilia.
Yesterday, the poster with the activities was presented by the Councilor for Culture, Alfonso Sánchez, the President of the School, Juana Mari Collados, and the Oboe professor and Councilor for Youth and Education, David Madrid.
On Monday 18 starts the Week with a concert of teachers at 19 hours.
The eight teachers who teach at the School will pass through the House of Culture.
The next day, Pedro Sucías will offer, on the one hand, a Tuba Master Class from 5 pm to 7 pm (registration 10 euros) and, on the other, a conference on how to train before taking the instrument.
It will be at 8:00 p.m.
In the Equator of the Week, on Wednesday the 20th, the Aventuriel project will be presented, which is made up of the majority of members of the San Blas group of animators.
It will start at 8.30 pm at the Casa de Cultura.
On Thursday, the 'Indian Quartet' will be on the auditorium stage.
A concert, at 8.30 pm, whose entrance costs 5 euros.
For the weekend, on Friday afternoon at 7 pm there is a concert of chamber groups of the Band 'Villa de Bullas' and at 9 pm concert of the entire band.
On Saturday morning the new musicians will be picked up and they will have a meal together.
Finally, on Sunday they celebrate a mass in honor of Santa Cecilia and before a parade.
Nor is there a big chocolate left early in the morning at the School.
As a novelty in this second edition, a sample of women composers from the 16th century to the present day will be exhibited throughout those days.
"Highlight the importance of having such a large number of musicians in our town and that as a consequence the events related to music multiply and always count not only with our support but also with the support of all the neighbors," said the Councilor for Culture, who I congratulate them on the organization of all the events and I invite all the bullfighters to enjoy music during Music Week.
