The municipal technicians of the City Council of Cieza have already finished making all the valuations on the damages produced by the DANA of last September.

According to sources from the Consistory, more than 90 percent of the works that had been listed as emergency and that had to be undertaken have been carried out.

Now the procedure to finance them is enabled.

The total amount of the cost of the set of emergency works aimed at repairing the damage caused by the last cold drop amounts to 357,000 euros in the words of the Councilor for Finance, Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real, of which, he explains, 232,000 belonging to the Remaining treasury of 2018 are enabled through the modification of credits approved, in extraordinary session, by the Municipal Plenary this past Friday.

For the rest it has not been necessary to take it from the remnants, since it has been covered with the transfers made so far on aid activated by different administrations.
