Cieza opens another chapter in the celebration of fairs, exhibitions and exhibitions to bring the culture of the past, present and future closer to the public.
On this occasion, it is the Department of Crafts headed by Conchi Villa that will take the Paseo de Cieza this next weekend for the launch of the Craft Show.
Around twenty stands will meet in the center of town in a meeting of artisans who will present their products in which the cezanos and cezanas can acquire and taste different handmade items.
Among the participants are represented a wide variety of crafts crafts such as potters, potters, jewelry, leather goods, shoemakers, sparteros or bolilleras that will not leave the public indifferent.
There will also be demonstrations of pottery, esparto work, making bobbin lace and honeycomb extraction.
Villa has stated that "the Sample aims to put in
value the great work that artisans do and contribute to the dissemination of their trade. "He adds that" esparto will be one of the main protagonists, since we cannot forget that it is one of the hallmarks of Cieza that contributed during a period important to the economic development of the families of Murcia ".
The City Council of Cieza will continue betting on handicrafts from two job perspectives, on the one hand giving continuity to the Sample as a showcase of the work done by artisans and on the other creating and formalizing the registration of Cieza artisans.
