The Department of Employment and Economic Development launched in November another new course, "Assembly and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Solar Installations", which consists of 540 hours.
This training action has been accredited with their respective Certificate of Professionalism, being subsidized by the Employment and Training Service to ensure the employment of students.
It is aimed mainly at unemployed people in Cieza with a maximum capacity for training of 15 students.
The development of this training is carried out from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the classrooms of the Department of Employment and Economic Development.
Municipal sources indicate that the approval of Royal Decrees Law 15/2018 -which put an end to the "sun tax" and eliminated administrative obstacles to self-consumption- and Royal Decree 244/2019 -which clearly defines the new conditions and especially the new possibilities: collective self-consumption, "proximity" and the simplified compensation of surpluses - allow any person or company to produce and consume their own electricity by installing in their home, local or community of neighbors photovoltaic solar panels.
"In addition to boosting renewables, it means savings in the electricity bill and less dependence on changes in the price of the electricity tariff, since part of the consumption is covered by the energy generated by the self-consumption system."
They add these sources that "the realization of these courses about the unemployed to obtain a job, since, it is increasingly common for companies to search for a specialized profile in this area, because, to these firms , they are scored more in public tender tenders when they have renewable energy, because in this area photovoltaic installations are being carried out for the operation of the irrigation headers. "
"On the other hand, the new regulation allows a continuity of employment growth in this sector at the same time that it has been regulated to avoid fluctuations that, in other times, resulted in difficulties for investors and owners of these facilities," they explain.
This course is the result of contributions from local companies that generate jobs in the round of meetings for the presentation of the Local Development Dynamization Plan (PdDL) carried out by the mayor, Pascual Lucas, and councilman Antonio Moya.
For his part, the councilor has indicated that "we are clearly betting on a meaningful training, oriented to what is demanded by local companies with the aim of helping the labor insertion to improve the quality of life of the people of Murcia."
