The councilor stressed that, since it was the area that presented the greatest deficiencies, it is the San José Obrero neighborhood that has been allocated a greater investment by the municipal government, which in the past corporation formed PSOE, IU-Verdes and Podemos, and in this PSOE and IU-Greens when losing the purple party their municipal representation.
As for the works completed in the first semester of the year, Saorín has detailed them explaining that on Cartagena Street there has been a change of sidewalks, reconstruction of pedestrian fords and repair of tread signs, with placement of planters and planting trees, for an amount of 67,320.00 euros, with similar actions on the street between Camino de Murcia and Sanz Orrio, with asphalting, reform of sidewalks and reconstruction of landscaped hedges, for an amount of 42,000 euros and the sidewalks were remodeled Manuel de Falla and Rafael Alberti street for 35,000 euros and those of Gregorio Marañón at a cost of 42,560 euros.

which will begin shortly on Ricote and San Carlos Borromeo streets, and, finally, the planned intervention on La Paz street with the same type of actions.
In addition, he recalled that, with the improvements, the Plaza de Gibraltar will be paved, mired in abandonment for many years.
Saorín has stressed that, necessarily, an intervention of this magnitude entails inconvenience for the neighbors, as well as for the population in general, including the transfer of the weekly market to the location where it is currently installed on Wednesdays and for which it has requested Understanding citizens
Likewise, the councilor has declared that he does not understand "the criticism of any political group, 'expert in occurrences', which, due to ignorance or the intention of annoyance, is self-appointed as spokesman for the merchants who set up their position in the weekly market, airing 'survey' conducted by the party itself that concludes that the 'merchants' sell less or equal in the new location, demanding the return to the previous location, as if this was not provided by the government team once the works are completed. "
Cover of a new section of the Rambla del Realejo
Finally, Saorín has announced that the coverage of a new section of the Rambla del Realejo will soon be tendered, between the Way of Murcia and the Way of Abarán, creating a new recreational space for a neighborhood that has been having significant improvements in recent years .
And, "while the Government continues to work day by day, responding to citizen demands and improving the quality of city life, the opposition councilors have not just placed themselves in their role," Saorín concluded.
