The ITV of Cieza, located in the industrial estate of Los Prados, has exceeded 1,700 services in its first month of operation as confirmed by the heads of the company Itevebasa SA during an institutional visit of the mayors of the Comarca de la Vega Alta, Pascual Lucas de Cieza, Jesús Gómez de Abarán and Pedro Luis Molina de Blanca.

The users of the new vehicle inspection station come from 10% of Abarán, 6% of Blanca, 5% of Calasparra and 70% of Cieza, while the rest comes from other locations such as Hellín, Elche (Alicante), Molina de Segura or the city of Murcia.
The ITV has created 14 direct jobs.

The company announces that, shortly, they will be taught in the municipality training course for new inspectors that will require a prior selection of all applicants to perform them.

The ITV of Cieza is located in the Los Prados Industrial Estate.
According to the productive capacity it enjoys, it will serve around 75,000 services per year for all types of vehicles in the Vega Alta region, about 200 daily.
Grupo Itevebasa SA, a company to which the technical vehicle inspection facility belongs, emphasizes that it, the first and only one in the area at the moment, "is a modern and accessible three-line station - it will offer about 25,000 services for each one of them- with 17 meters of inspection and several offices that occupies a constructed area of ​​650 square meters on a plot of 5,000 belonging to the Los Prados Industrial Estate, and which will also provide attention to heavy vehicles and motorcycles. The ITV remains open until 14 hours a day, between 8 and 22 hours, while on Saturdays it is only from eight in the morning until two in the afternoon.
Indirectly, the new station has also become a tool of economic revitalization for the surrounding services, starting with the economic savings for users in the area, who do not have to travel to other locations, also finding, in that of Cieza, prices much more affordable than in other stations.
