The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, met today with the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, with whom he addressed issues of “utmost importance” for the municipality, such as the support of the regional government so that the flowering of Cieza is a “ event of strategic tourist interest for the Region of Murcia, through different promotional actions, among them, at the International Tourism Fair, Fitur ”, as reported by the Minister of Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, at the end of the meeting.
"Flowering is a project that not only serves to boost the economy but also allows Murcia and visitors to discover and enjoy the agritourism heritage of the Region of Murcia," said the counselor.
Likewise, during the meeting, the need for a local financing law to which the regional government has committed itself, “always subject to the reform of the regional financing system with which the central Executive suffocates the Region of Murcia and it mistreats us with respect to other communities, ”Celdrán said.
In addition, in terms of infrastructure, President López Miras has pledged that the Community will collaborate with the construction of a collector that connects the Ascoy population center with the Cieza wastewater treatment plant.
