The mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, has referred in a press conference to this year's Christmas program as "a great program full of activities to get the neighbors out of their homes and live it all together."
The councilor, during the presentation of the different activities, stressed that "this programming is an example of unity because it has been carried out with the participation of 6 councilors coordinated and led by the Celebrations."
Lucas explained that "Cieza is at a great moment not only because of its growth in services and facilities, or the launching of large projects that the neighbors claim so much, but because of the great leisure offer so that the people of Cezan can learn, have fun and live among all of us. Without a doubt this Christmas will be very special, because it represents the beginning of a new cycle in the continuation of the transformation of our city and this is reflected in the news of the programming and the activities that will make people of all audiences have fun and build relationships. "
For the mayor, "Christmas is important to promote it not only for this, but for the impulse that supposes to the local commerce and the hospitality industry, generating thus economy for the families. It is in these dates more than ever in which we must think about improving the quality of our relatives and growing as a municipality consuming in Cieza ".
On the other hand, the councilor María Jesús López, head of Festivities, explained that the cartel is divided into several parts;
an information on all the activities in general scheduled at different times and referring to culture and leisure events in general, another section dedicated to sports with a wide variety of activities, another to the Route of Nativity scenes and the last two referred to the great news of this year: 'The House of Christmas' and the Ecape Room.
These last two activities will be located in the Plaza de España, which will become the nerve center of Christmas, "although we will also take Christmas to all neighborhoods," López said.
For the first time there will be a unique site where all Christmas workshops aimed at children will be held, free of charge with compulsory registration in the Municipal Library.
The Escape Room, designed solely for Cieza with the title Rescue Christmas, will allow, at a symbolic price, that groups of up to 6 people can develop the fun mission of saving Christmas in a room with surprise stays.
Tickets will be purchased at the Capitol Theater and at the Tourist Office.
"What is pursued with this activity is to offer a leisure alternative to young people and adults, since Christmas is usually aimed at children, but the rest of people of other ages also live with joy these dates."
The Department of Youth has shaped the afternoon of the 24th through music and street entertainment.
"The 'TardeBuena' is a concept that has gradually gained prominence in our city and, from the City Council, we want to make sense and quality with the joint participation of the pubs where people are concentrated. Therefore, I want to thank the implication of the following pubs: San Sebastián, Cafetín, Abrevadero de Patos, Siroco and Nagos. There will be sessions of D´JS and live entertainment for young people and adults to live a magical afternoon. "
Finally, on January 4, prior to the Three Kings Parade organized by the OJE, the Trade Festival will be held every year, a day aimed at merchants to support and boost consumption in local commerce.
That day there will be inflatables in the Plaza de España, workshops for the little ones, chocolate and roscón.
