The Vega Lorenzo Guirao hospital has, since the beginning of this month, a new Dialysis Unit that centralizes all the care in the hospital, so that patients in health area IX (Cieza Abarán and Blanca) do not have to move from their environment.
The Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, visited the unit today, where he highlighted the comfort that it means for users to have an integral space for their treatments and stressed that the provision of hemodialysis will mean “better care, closer to their homes and to its environment".
With this project "we fulfill the commitment to guarantee the conformity of these people who, at least three days a week, go to this service to improve their health".

A supervisor, a doctor, three nurses, two assistants and a guard have initially joined the service.
