The municipal society of the City of Cieza Aguas de Cieza showed its most supportive face this Christmas with a charitable action consisting of delivering a total of 66 Christmas baskets with food products to the Piedras Vivas Social Dining Room, a collective that was responsible for distributing them among people most disadvantaged in the town.
A few days ago, among others, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Melba Miñano;
the managing director of the public company, Manuel Pablo Martínez, and Mariano Caballero, responsible for the charity association.
Martínez explained that this solidarity gesture has been possible thanks to the generosity of the workers of Aguas de Cieza, whose Christmas baskets have been reduced this year to complete the 66 that have been delivered to Piedras Vivas.
Melba Miñano has highly valued this action by dedicating words of gratitude to the workers, "whose gesture speaks very clearly of their generosity and supportive hearts," he said.
