The City Council has started this project, creating the Association of Artisans, "which will be all benefits for the guild."
"It is known by all that Cieza is the cradle of many artisan crafts, hence the importance of opting for the path of association to value the work they do and to have more help from other agencies outside the municipality as a formed entity."
Many of these offices, such as the work of esparto, are part of the local culture and therefore the responsible council led by Conchi Villa aims to "preserve and enhance them, as they provide great added value for Cieza."
Villa adds that "handmade products make a difference for their characteristics, each product is unique, and for the artisan charm."
From the Department of Crafts, all the necessary support will be provided to formalize the creation of the association, with the main goals being the dissemination and promotion of the artisanal fabric.
