The Councilor for Social Policies, Melba Miñano, has announced the start-up of the Telephone of Hope service in Cieza again after a period of time in which it has remained inactive.
The municipal official, who was accompanied at the press conference by the president of the NGO in Murcia, María Guerrero, and regional and local collaborators of this group, reported that the return of the Telephone to the headquarters of Tomás y Valiente Street, n ° 6 low (at the beginning of the slope of the Mill), will be carried out with the celebration, from February 3 to 7, of the so-called 'Week of emotional health', also premiering a pioneer program in the Region of Murcia which includes the development of workshops for women in vulnerable situations.
During the presentation it was pointed out that "the promotion of emotional health is one of the preferred areas of action in the Telephone of Hope, as we understand that it favors personal growth and helps prevent certain conflict situations. Therefore, with the ' Emotional health week ', which will take place from February 3 to 7, the Telephone of Hope in Cieza resumed its activities by carrying out, among the most outstanding actions, a cycle of conferences to value such important issues as self-esteem, positive thinking, stress management and mindfulness in the here and now, through 'mindfulness' ".
The presentations, which will all begin at 7.30 pm, will address topics such as 'Keys to control stress and anxiety', on Monday, February 3, by María Guerrero Escusa, a doctor of Psychology;
'Mindfulness for daily life', which will be pronounced on Tuesday 4 Josefina Redondo Higueras, specialist in mindfulness and volunteer of the Telephone of Hope of Murcia;
on Wednesday 5 the talk 'Talking do you understand people?'
by Caridad Selma Ferrández, a doctor in Biology, and on Thursday, February 6, the psychologist Francisco Aroca Bernal will propose the conference 'Strengthen your self-esteem'.
Those responsible say that, for them, "the week of emotional health is every week of the year. Therefore, the presence of the Telephone of Hope in Cieza resumes offering the resources of psychological intervention in crisis intervention, free and confidential ; emotional health workshops, aimed at working and enhancing their personal development; emotional health workshops for vulnerable women, conducted in collaboration with the General Directorate of Women of CARM and the City Council of Cieza; the course 'Help your children to to grow ', focused on mothers and fathers with concerns in favoring a harmonious and integral development of their children, as well as lectures, conferences and informative conferences of general interest ".
