The City Council of Cieza has presented the 2020 carnival poster, whose protagonist is a fried cake, "the queen of the carnival" of the municipality.
And is that the departments of Celebrations and Youth have opted for the mix of modernity tradition to give a change to the image of the carnival and turn it into "something endearing that does not go out of style."
This edition, in addition to the traditions with which the municipality counts each year as the parade of parades on the 22nd, since the councilors have organized musical and entertainment activities aimed at the little ones so that each day there is a leisure option in the Plaza de España and a Carnival program.
At the end of the parade, awards will be given to the winning groups in the Convent Corner.
The exit of the parade will be in the Paseo Don Antonio Salas, being the tour Paseo José Antonio Camacho, Gran Vía, Camino de Murcia, Paseo and Esquina del Convento.
The prizes of the contest will be € 1 800, € 2 500 € 400 and € 300 300
Two prizes for the best AMPAS troupes valued at 500 euros the first and 400 euros the second.
In addition, there are eleven prizes of 300 euros for the rest of the AMPAS participating groups of the local Infant and Primary Education schools.

This party, which will begin at 23:00 hours, will be enlivened by the session of a DJ, framed in a costume contest whose theme proposed by the City Council is "Couples".
This theme includes endless costumes that are valid for both people and groups.
Famous couples in the world of cinema, literature, music, science, sports, theater, art, pairs of objects, food, drinks, places, etc.
Anything that adds two or more than two will be valid to participate in the contest.
The prizes are: 300 euros, 200 euros and 100 euros.
Tickets to access the party, the amount of which is 3 euros, can be purchased from this Saturday at the pubs Cafetín, Abrevadero de Patos, Siroco, Nagos and Moon Blue, which are the establishments participating in the event.
The 23 will be for the smallest performance of the Gelatina musical group to encourage children with songs and balloons from 4:00 p.m.
On the 24th, the children of the house will enjoy another day of children's entertainment through cartoon characters, also after four in the afternoon.

The departments have prepared a surprise that will be the star of the Carnival and that can be seen in the streets of Cieza the first day of this holiday.
