On March 28 and 29, a new edition of the National Spring Dog Show organized by the Canine Society of Murcia will be held in collaboration with the City Council of Cieza.
The initiative, which is held again in the city, will be held at the Mariano Rojas Sports Complex with free admission, starting at 10 am.
The event will be scored for the Spanish Beauty Championship.
The Mariano Rojas Municipal Sports Complex will open its doors to the most beautiful dogs in Spain, including national and international champions, on March 28 and 29 on the occasion of the 48 National Spring Dog Show, whose organization will be run by the Canine Society of Murcia in collaboration with the City Council of Cieza.
It is an event that, in addition to being a favorite of Murcia, is also a national reference.
"It will be an unfinished weekend that will serve to prolong flowering in Cieza, where between 500 and 600 people will meet," said the Councilor for Finance, Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real, who presented this activity with the president of the Canine Society from Murcia, Alfonso Castell.
From 10.00 on March 28, the venue will open its doors to the participants, who have already confirmed their attendance 200 of the fifty planned registrations.
From 14.30, in the covered pavilion, the trials will begin, which will be resumed on Sunday from 10 am, choosing the best specimens in their different categories.
For the competition they have set a dozen groups, which include different races and different classes, among which the best of each of them will be chosen, as well as the best specimen of the entire exhibition.
In addition, simultaneously, a monographic session dedicated to the American Sttanfordshire breed will be held.
Registration for exhibitions and competitions of the Canine Society of Murcia must be made through the website www.socieddacaninademurcia.es/inscriptions, by filling out an electronic form.
The third deadline for registration of the National Spring Dog Show will end on March 13, with no entries accepted on the day of the exhibition.
There will be two foreign judges of the "highest level" that will make Cieza a center of attention for thousands of amateurs and breeders: some who come to competition and others who come to admire the copies that compete.
They have also confirmed their presence up to seven Russian exhibitors, in addition to French, Italian and Scandinavian.
"We have chosen the two-day format so that the exhibitors can spend the night in Cieza," said the president of the Canine Society of Murcia.
