He allegedly used a large knife to intimidate and seize cash from the cash register
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to clarify a robbery committed at a Cieza service station, which has resulted in the identification, location and detention of a local neighbor, as the alleged perpetrator of theft with violence and intimidation.
The events took place at a gas station in Cieza, a few moments before the closing time of the establishment, when a person who hid his face with a garment and armed with a large knife accessed the premises, intimidated the worker who I was at that time until it was made with part of the collection that was in the cash register and fled in a local vehicle.
Benemérita troops specialized in Citizen Security Prevention, after receiving notice of the commission of the criminal act, moved to the gas station and opened the corresponding investigation to verify the facts and, where appropriate, clarify them.
In order to collect all possible evidence, the civil guards carried out a technical-ocular inspection at the site and various procedures, which allowed verifying both the consummation of the criminal act and its modus operandi.
As a result of the investigations carried out, the investigators identified a neighbor of the municipality of Murcia who was allegedly following the authorship of the criminal acts investigated.
The investigation shows that he now arrested, allegedly, carried out surveillance of the establishment to determine the most 'ideal' time to commit the robbery, that is, he planned the robbery to commit it when there were supposedly more cash and less personnel working.
The Spanish detainee, 33 years old and a neighbor of Cieza and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Cieza (Murcia).
