The activity that is celebrated every first Sunday of the month in the Corner of the Convent moves this March 1 to Hontana Street.
While on the esplanade of the church of San Joaquín, the exit and arrival of the IX Ascent to Collado Portazgo 'Grand Prix Floración' will be located.
This measure will be carried out to facilitate the work of preparing the own test in which, from this weekend, members of the El Portazgo Hiking and Mountain Group work.
The Craft Market has not fitted as a mere provisional change the decision to move its location from the Corner of the Convent to Hontana Street, due to the organization of a sports event this March 1.
The Department of Crafts has been ignited all the ideas for the opportunity that may occur.
And it is that this new location, located on one of the natural viewpoints of the city over the garden, offers unbeatable views of the blooming fields.
For this, the municipal area that Conchi Villa directs has found in the Municipal School of Folklore the ideal ally for a special edition on the occasion of the Floración tourism project.
As reported in a press conference, the Department of Crafts and the Group of Choirs and Dances of Cieza have reached an agreement that the students of the Municipal School of Folklore will act this Sunday from approximately 12.00 hours.
"It is a very appropriate way to liven up the street market in Hontana Street, with the background blooming, because it is a nerve center for visitors who come to Cieza to see this natural spectacle. I think it can be very positive," Villa said.
The street will be cut off to traffic from the early hours of Sunday morning until around 3 pm - it will open once the twenty-five craft stalls have been dismantled.
In the presentation, which also informed about the dance show 'Danzas en flowering', Jesús Saorín explained that a total of 60 students from the Municipal School of Folklore will participate in the activity together with the rondalla and the choir of the Group of Choirs and Dances of Cieza.
In the words of the president of the veteran folkloric formation, "Jacks, Malaga, Seguidillas and Fandangos make up the repertoire chosen for the occasion. We want to bring color, joy and music to the flowering through six performances."
Saorín encouraged neighbors and visitors to attend the Craft Market, with the news that this year the place chosen to host it is Hontana Street.
