It was a new circuit that ran through the area of ​​the football field of La Era, sidewalk of El Fatego and Paseo de Ronda.
A total of 1000 meters for the Benjamin category and 2000 for the fry
The test was a real success of participation, since it reached the number of 1,000 participants belonging to 10 schools in our town.
As a novelty, an open classroom career was included in the competition program, in which boys and girls from Jaime Balmes School and CEIP Gerónimo Belda participated.
In this way, "the City Council of Cieza continues betting on inclusive sport".
Throughout the morning there was a real sport party, thanks to the collaboration of all the schools involved in the test, as they gave a great example of sportsmanship and companionship.
In teams, the winning center of the 4 races was the CBM José Marín, while the individual categories went to Rubén Morote Valenzuela (CBM Don José Marín), male fry;
Ángela Ortiz Rojas (CBM Don José Marín), female fry;
Pablo Hurtado Botella (CBM Don José Marín), male baby, and Yasmina Gnibiri (CBM Don José Marín), female baby.
The first three classified of each individual event together with the four winning teams will represent Cieza in the regional cross-country final on March 13 in Puerto Lumbreras.
The Sports Service has once again appreciated the involvement with the program and the exemplary behavior of all participants in this test.
