The Department of European Projects, directed by María Jesús López, has attended the meeting of partners held in the Greek city of Kozani corresponding to the European project E-MOB, belonging to the Interreg Europe program co-financed by ERDF
The objective of the meeting has been to discuss the work methodology to be carried out for the first phase of the project that will end in July 2022 and that is based on 'peer learning' or learning between partners.
The first project learning meeting will take place in Cieza during the month of April and will be attended by partners from Austria, Romania and Hungary.
The E-MOB project took its first steps in the municipality of Cieza at the end of January with the celebration of the constitution meeting of the working group of experts and interested parties to which the vehicle dealers of the municipality have also been invited.
The project aims to identify good practices for the implementation of new forms of more sustainable mobility, based mainly on electric mobility systems.
In this way, the Department of European and Strategic Projects "reinforces the carbon emission reduction policies in the municipality, also included in EDUSI, also co-financed by ERDF and in the search for medium-term solutions aimed at acting on the main factor that affects the quality of the air in the municipality, as is the one associated with combustion vehicles ".
