The Sports Service has announced the creation of the I Local League of Runners City of Cieza for this year 2020, whose objective is to promote sports among the amateur population and increase participation in local popular races.

For this, the Sports Service of the City Council of Cieza, the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) and the organizing entities of the popular races that take place in the town are committed to collaborate for the development of this new competition for which Sports has already developed and disseminated regulatory bases.

The league will consist of 5 popular races held in the town: #CIEZA 10K Bloom, organized by the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Agony;

the Down Cieza race, sponsored by the Down Cieza Association (Down Syndrome Association);

the popular career Puentes de Cieza, developed by the Spanish Youth Organization (Hogar del Guía);

the Half Marathon City of Cieza celebrated by the Brotherhood Santa M.ª Magdalena, and the San Silvestre City of Cieza that programs the Brotherhood of Santa Verónica de Cieza on New Year's Eve.

Local runners may choose, either individually or in teams, for a series of prizes in the case of completing at least 3 of the 5 tests, and must previously register on the website of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU), indicating the postal code of Cieza (30530).
