The City Council of Cieza communicates that the health services have activated the safety protocol for the study of the case of the patient admitted with confusing symptoms to know if it is the Covid-19 coronavirus, still unconfirmed.
The patient is of middle age and has presented symptoms that could coincide with those that occur in case of infection.
Given this, the Las Morericas Health Center has decided to activate the safety protocol to put the patient under study.
Until after 24 hours the results will not be known, whether affirmative or negative.
For the knowledge of the population, the process of activating the safety protocol has consisted of contacting 112 so that, after examination, the patient can be transferred to the Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital and subjected to isolation in parallel with the study process.
The City Council of Cieza is following at all times closely and strictly for weeks the indications of the health area to which the locality belongs.
Therefore, tranquility and total normality are requested in the performance of the life of all the neighbors, not contributing to the social alarmism that can cause nervousness and uncertainty.
From the City Council we will immediately transfer any information, recommendation or instruction in this regard.
