On the occasion of the entry into force of Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19 (hereinafter RD 463/2020 ), the Department of Circular Economy launched from the first day an extraordinary protocol to intensify the cleaning and disinfection work.
The disinfection tasks, which, in a first phase, have included a crash plan carried out by personnel from the companies that provide street cleaning and waste collection services, Aguas de Cieza and Urban Environment, respectively, have covered those areas that will continue to have a significant influx as their use is allowed by the Royal Decree, including both public spaces, such as health centers, hospitals, food courts, social services buildings, urban furniture, especially containers , as well as the environment of all those private commercial premises included in article 10 of the Royal Decree and whose opening is still allowed, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, tobacconists and ATMs among others.
