Sources of the Cieza City Council recalled the economic measures that, from the Council, have been adopted with extraordinary character to alleviate the serious situation caused by the coronavirus crisis.
The municipal government plans to create a contingency fund to meet the needs of the people of Cezan as a consequence of the crisis that the pandemic is generating, this fund will have an amount of up to 400,000 euros and will also contribute to substantially increasing the amount of social employment that it introduced this government in the budget.
In addition, once the month of March ended, since the state of alarm was declared, the figure of 2,429,133.74 euros has been paid in payments to suppliers, which has been done with the greatest agility possible since the declaration of the pandemic.
It should be remembered that this measure joins those already taken by the government team and that will take effect in the present year 2020, consisting of suspension of receipts for infant school, modification of the fiscal calendar to delay the payment of IBI and garbage , refund of fees for services not provided such as municipal swimming pool, suspension of the second quarter of the weekly market in order to proceed to the return of the proportional part of the first for the weeks without work.
Likewise, for three months, receipts will not be issued for the liquidation of rights, more facilities for postponements, suspension of the rate of occupation of public roads by tables and chairs for establishments, suspension of the rate of drinking water in all establishments that have had to close, and for the next plenary session the suspension of the ICIO tax will be agreed, with which it is intended to reactivate the construction with works or reforms, the rate for activity licenses will also be suspended, thus avoiding difficulties for those who want to undertake in these difficult times.
