The Department of Finance of the City of Cieza has sent a press release in which it informs about the extension of the voluntary period to pay the Vehicle Tax that ended on May 5 and has lasted until June 5.

This tax was already drawn prior to the declaration of the state of alarm, so its payment date was not "delayed" in the previous modification of the fiscal calendar.

Although, once the Royal Decree of March 31 published in the BOE of April 1, the extension of the period in the voluntary phase has been possible.

It is necessary to indicate that the payment letters that have been sent to the addresses are only valid until May 5 (the end date of the previous term), so any citizen who wishes to pay the receipt after May 5 will have to do it online, through the electronic office, or requesting a new payment letter at the municipal offices, picking it up physically once normality is restored or by email autoliquidaciones@cieza.es.

Direct debits will be issued on June 5.
