The investigation began when the Civil Guard became aware of the dissemination, through instant messaging, of an audio file in which a woman's voice alerted to the contagion by Coronavirus of the employee of a supermarket in the municipality of ciezano. This voice message was disseminated in a massive way, which created confusion and social alarm among the population of Cieza, who feared they had caught it. Representatives of the mercantile company that owns the establishment denounced to the Civil Guard the damage caused by the dissemination of this information for the company, upon noticing a decrease in customers in the establishment where the employee mentioned in the audio works. After making numerous inquiries, the Civil Guard has identified the person who, allegedly, had recorded and broadcast to several of his contacts via instant messaging, the audio file that was the subject of the investigation. The investigation has culminated in the location and arrest of the suspect, a 30-year-old woman and neighbor of Cieza, who is allegedly responsible for the crime of public disorder. The detainee and the proceedings investigated have been made available to the Investigating Court of Cieza (Murcia).
