The Councilor for General Administration and European Projects of the City of Cieza, María Jesús López, is part of the National Urbanism and Housing Commission of the body that defends and represents local entities, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.In this first appointment of the Commission, the management report 2015-2019 of said commission, of the resolutions of the XII Plenary Session of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), of the current agreements were reported electronically.
The report on the Network of Cities for Climate and the actions carried out within the Commission regarding Covid-19 was also detailed.As María Jesús López explained, "it is essential and beneficial for Cieza to be able to be part of this Commission on behalf of our City Council, since it allows us to make our contributions, at the same time knowing first-hand and adopting all the proposals that are taking carried out in different parts of Spain in terms of energy efficiency and sustainable development ".López explains that "this is an essential opportunity to collect as much information as possible that will lead us to become a sustainable city, such as, for example, making possible the increase in strategies in favor of energy efficiency that we are already implementing from the town hall ciezano and with which we will continue in the future ".
