| The Piñera and Carrillo training continues to focus on alleviating the health, social and economic crisis of the ciezanos | VOX Cieza, which continues to look with concern at the existing health crisis, registers two proposals for the ordinary plenary session in July that look at the health of the people of Cezanza and which consist of the implementation of a 'Health Fair' and the search for alternatives to use of street cleaning blowers. The mayor of VOX, María Dolores Carrillo, considers that the 'Health Fair' would be an event "in which organizations would have the opportunity to disseminate information to the public through their booths, at the same time that it would be a close option to the citizen to promote health among the ciezanos and thus facilitate their health control ”.
A proposal that addresses the realization of a Study of Seroprevalence on Coronavirus in the registered citizens in the city financed by the City Council of Cieza with the aim of identifying those who have antibodies against it, locating those who are infected and may be sources of transmission thus managing to avoid as much as possible the circulation of the Covid-19 in a community way and finally make the results available to the Ministry of Health of Murcia.
A great opportunity for Cieza, which also aims to "boost health-related companies by creating a professional network of contacts to generate both business and employment opportunities," says Carrillo. For his part, VOX spokesman Juan Antonio Piñera, proposes to end the use of blowers and proposes that within a maximum period of 120 days, the contract with the company in charge of street cleaning be reviewed and healthier alternatives to blowers, such as traditional sweeping, vacuuming or any other in replacement of said blowers. Piñera, in his proposal, takes as a reference a study by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) in which it is revealed that road cleaning blowers multiply air pollution.
