The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities reports that a new, completely free, appointment phone line is now operational to serve women victims of gender violence.
The new number is 900 710 061, which replaces the previous line 901 101 332.Sources from the municipal area headed by Melba Miñano, in coordination with the General Directorate for Women and Regional Gender Diversity, explain that "work continues so that women victims of gender violence can access all the services and resources destined for them without suppose an additional cost ".The conditions of line 900 will be the same as those established on line 901 from 9:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m., and calls will be answered from this Management Center.
"As of the end of the face-to-face hours, they will be able to leave their data and telephone number in the voice mailbox, in the morning of the following day they will proceed to return their call," they explain.The benefit of it, clarifies the statement, is that from now on the calls made by users who are victims of gender violence will not incur any cost.
