The psychosocial intervention project aimed at people with cancer and their relatives is restarted this October in Cieza in order to provide support to these people for a better quality of life, report from Social Welfare.This project will take place every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m.
in the Municipal Center for the Elderly Las Morericas, thanks to the close collaboration between the Area for the Elderly of the Department of Social Welfare, of which the councilor Melba Miñano Bleda is delegated, and the Provincial Board of Murcia in collaboration with the Board Local of Cieza of the Spanish Association against Cancer.On Tuesdays, two services will be implemented at the Center's facilities: the psychological service for people with cancer and their relatives, which will be provided by Miriam Sánchez Regadera, a graduate in Psychology.
Also, the social support service for people with cancer and their relatives, which will be provided by Lidia Valera Pagan, a graduate in Social Work.To be a user of either of these two services, those interested should make an appointment by calling the telephone number 968284588.
