The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities of the City Council of Cieza reports on the launch of the Viogen Family Meeting Point, starting next November.
The PEF Viogen is a reality as a result of the efforts and inter-institutional cooperation of the General Directorate of Women and Gender Diversity of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No.
1 of Cieza, the Telephone of La Esperanza and the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities of the City Council of this municipality.Said Viogen Family Meeting Point will be destined to the attention of families with difficulties in those cases in which there is gender-based violence and it has been established in a court decision that visits to minors or the collection and delivery of them should be done in the aforementioned meeting point.By putting it into operation, it is intended to safeguard minors and comply with the principle of the best interests of the minor.The organization of this service will be carried out by professionals from the Murcia Region Mediation Association, as in the rest of the different Viogen Family Meeting Points that exist in the Murcian Community and will be financed with the funds transferred by the Ministry of the Presidency and Relations with the Courts and Equality, through the Secretary of State for Equality, destined to the autonomous communities to develop the State pact on gender violence.
