From the Ciezan government team they believe in this formula to improve municipal management in neighborhoods and know first-hand the needs of residents. The mayor, Pascual Lucas Díaz, and the councilor for Citizen Participation, Conchi Villa, have started a round of meetings with the different neighborhood associations of the municipality in order to know first-hand their demands and concerns. The first meeting was held a few days ago with representatives of the Ascoy Neighbors Association and they discussed, among other issues, the inclusion of Ascoy in the I Street Cleaning Management Plan, approved last August, and the phase of the project for the installation of surveillance cameras in various areas near the scattered population centers.Councilor Pascual Lucas has said that, "for us, it is essential to establish close contact with citizens, in order to know the real needs that allow us to implement measures that respond to these requests and neighborhood concerns and thus improve their quality of life, since that is our main goal as local managers ".For his part, Villa has stated that "from the council that I lead, many steps have already been taken in this direction with the conviction of being able to reach out to all Ciezan citizens and make them part of the decisions made by the local government, such as participatory budgets ".Meetings with the rest of the neighborhood associations are already scheduled for the next few days with the firm conviction from the Consistory that policies of proximity to citizens must be one of the main axes of municipal management and in that sense we are working on intense way.
