The Cieza City Council, through the Department of Employment and Economic Development, has received a subsidy to improve accessibility in the facilities in this area, after participating in the Call for the Regional Employment and Training Service for the granting of Subsidies of the Local Public Employment Program, co-financed by the European Social Fund.Specifically, this grant will serve to finance the workforce to carry out this project.
It is proposed to improve the accessibility of this building to adapt it to current regulations and allow access for people with reduced mobility, in a space with a large influx of people.The proposed intervention includes the demolition and cleaning works, demolition of the current stairs, formation of a new staircase, creation of a file under the staircase, expansion of one of the offices on the first floor to improve customer service, construction partition walls, interior flooring and plastering, and wall and ceiling paintings.The total cost of the work amounts to € 61,551.74, of which € 30,857.04 are subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and € 30,694.70 will be provided by the Cieza City Council, through the Employment Department and Economic Development.The purpose of this program is the acquisition of work experience and improvement of the employability of unemployed people registered in the Employment Offices and the promotion of activity in those sectors of the local scope in which new needs are detected not yet satisfied, through the subsidy of labor costs for hiring workers for the execution of works or services of general and social interest through collaboration with entities external to the Public Employment Services (Subprogram "Local Public Employment").For this, 3 masonry officers will be hired for 6 months.
With this, work continues along the lines set out in the Local Development and Dynamization Plan (PDdL), promoting employment in groups with special difficulties when entering the labor market.
