VOX Cieza will take to the next ordinary plenary session, on November 3, a motion to request a report on the need and viability of a loading and unloading area on Avenida de Italia, this being a serious problem that has existed for a long time. The VOX proposal will try to find a solution to one of the most repeated images on a daily basis in this area, since it is common to see transport vehicles on the sidewalks of Paseo José Antonio Camacho, thus interrupting the pedestrian crossing to be able to distribute their products to shops and hoteliers. In addition, both carriers and their economy are put at risk by being able to be reported by the competent municipal authority, therefore, VOX Cieza intends to give them an alternative and end the aforementioned problem. The spokesman for GM VOX Cieza, Juan Antonio Piñera, defends that this proposal "is one of the next that we will take to plenary session to solve the numerous problems that this area suffers and that cause inconvenience to neighbors and discomfort to hoteliers, merchants and delivery men" .We remember that the supply of goods to municipalities and cities depends on the products reaching their destination in order to serve consumers. The vehicles that transport this merchandise in our municipality have the disadvantage that they must stop and occupy the public road while they make the delivery and this leads to interruptions in traffic, unnecessary traffic jams and circulation problems that are aggravated depending on the area in which the goods are distributed."To avoid all these problems, we propose the provision of reserve areas for public space for loading and unloading," says Piñera, who adds: "These spaces are intended for the exclusive use of carriers at the stipulated time, so that they make their deliveries quickly and fluently without interrupting the circulation of the road where they stop to unload ”, concluded the mayor.
